Sortify is browser-based playlist manager, helping you reduce playlist clutter and make the most of your music library.
Manage playlist overlap in a multi-playlist workspace, and use analysis tools to find and edit redundant playlists across your library.
For the most updated version of the app, check out the VueJS release.
Click "Import Playlists" on the dashboard. You can load them directly from Spotify, or as local files (exported from here or another service)
Select one or more playlists from the Open Workspace card and click Open. The workspace displays all tracks and playlists selected, with checkboxes to toggle track membership in each playlist.
Edits aren't permanent until you save them, using the 'Save' button or Cmd+S. Your data on Spotify won't be affected, exports appear as new playlists instead of overwriting.
Sortify stores your playlist data locally in your browser. It's completely private, and can't leave your device until you choose to export it. No song or profile data is stored elsewhere, shared, or fed to robots :)
Big downloads from Spotify can be slow, so a recommended approach is to load your whole library once, then save it locally as a JSON bundle for near-instant access next time you start a session.
Since data is saved in your browser between sessions, you can usually continue where you left off without needing to re-import, but downloading your data when finished ensures you have a backup.
